Abstract:
To enhance flowability of a mineral oil and a mineral oil distillate under a low temperature condition, particularly paraffin dispersibility, by adding an appropriate additive for low temperatures.
The graft copolymer is obtained by grafting an ester (a) of an 8-22C alcohol with acrylic acid onto a copolymer (b) that comprises 0.5-16 mol% of at least one vinyl ester represented by formula (1): CH2=CH-OCOR1 [wherein R1 is a 5-15C branched alkyl group] in addition to ethylene, provided that the vinyl acetate content of the copolymer (b) is less than 3.5 mol%.
