Abstract:

To provide a VI-improver (an agent for improving viscosity index) with an effective dispersing action as an additive for a lubricant.

The VI-active material (a material for improving a viscosity index) is a graft polymer formed by a 6-30C alkyl(meth)acrylate (AMA) and (B) a not functionalized copolymer and (C) a functionalized copolymer and (A) a polyalkylmethacrylate-macro monomer (A) copolymerized in a carrier medium TM, and it has a superior dispersing activity.
