Abstract:
To provide an additive manufacturing method and additive manufacturing device, capable of conducting a high-precision additive manufacturing without causing shape collapse in an overhang part even by an SLM method.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional shaped object is formed by melting and solidifying a metal powder 23 by irradiating the metal powder 23 with a laser beam LB using a powder bed fusion-type additive manufacturing method. The additive manufacturing method includes: a temporary sintering step in which an overhang part of the three-dimensional shaped object is irradiated with the laser beam LB at a first beam intensity so as to cause particles of the metal powder 23 irradiated with the laser beam LB to be partially melted and joined together; and a final melting/solidification step in which the irradiated region irradiated with the laser beam in the temporary sintering step is irradiated with the laser beam LB at a second beam intensity higher than the first beam intensity so as to cause the metal powder 23 in the irradiated region to be melted and solidified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
