Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for reclaimed asphalt having only a slight environmental burden, high flash point, and high regeneration effect for deteriorated asphalt and deteriorated modified asphalt already subjected to regeneration treatment; a reclaimed asphalt paving material obtained by mixing with the additive for reclaimed asphalt; and a method for manufacturing the additive for reclaimed asphalt.SOLUTION: There is provided an additive for reclaimed asphalt which satisfies the following requirements (1) to (4): - Requirement (1): The content of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PCA) is 3 mass% or less; - Requirement (2): The kinematic viscosity at 40°C is 250 to 2500 mm/s; - Requirement (3): The flash point is 250°C or higher; - Requirement (4): The kinematic viscosity at 160°C of a distillate from the initial distillation point to a distillation of 20 vol.% for when the additive for reclaimed asphalt is distilled under reduced pressure is less than 3.50 mm/s.SELECTED DRAWING: None
