Abstract:

To provide an address management system capable of safely distributing an address without duplication in a network without depending on an address system, guaranteeing uniqueness and correctness of the address to assure security regarding utilization of the address and also protecting user's privacy.

In the address management system in the network constituted of a user terminal, an address management server which distributes address information to the user terminal and a relay terminal which relays communication between the user terminal and the address management server, the address management server assigns a unique IP address and a unique MAC address to a user terminal which newly participates in the network and distributes a public key certificate associated with the IP address and the MAC address.
