Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transfer system using a tree-shaped ring network by an address storing method in which a bit length of a recording address is short.SOLUTION: A low-order address is acquired from an address to be stored, and one is stored to a position to be designated by an address memory with the low-order address, thereby the low-order address stores a whole address to be stored instead of storage. An address storing method is applied for an ambiguous storage address memory for a packet drop of a bidirectional ring network associated with an error storage of the address storage occurred by the address storing method. The error storage of a drop address of a packet dropped from a ring from a drop address memory is applied for a tree-shaped ring network in which one switching system is connected to the uppermost ring to which the address storing method which can be avoided by an ambiguous storing bit stream synthetic value memory for a packet passage of a reverse direction ring of the bidirectional ring network and an address table of the packet drop is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
