Title:
ADDUCT OF EPOXIDE AND AMINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3234990
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an adduct which is obtained by reacting an cycloaliphatic or heterocycloaliphatic polyamine with a polyfunctional epoxide in an amount to give a specified amount of active hydrogen atoms and useful for adhesives and matrix resins and has good dimensional stability and chemical resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The adduct obtained by reacting an cycloaliphatic polyamine containing at least two primary amino groups [example: diamine of formula I, formula II, formula III (R1-R4 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl: Z is a direct bond, -CH2-, -S-, -CO-, etc.)], or a heterocycloaliphatic polyamine with a polyfunctional epoxide containing at least two epoxy groups in a molecule (preferably 4,4'- diaminodiphenylmethane-tetraglycide, etc.), in an amount to give 10-100 equivalents of active hydrogen atoms to be bonded to amino nitrogen atoms per one epoxide equivalent.
