Abstract:
To provide an adenovirus vector (Ad vector) capable of readily expressing even a foreign base sequence with a comparatively short base length in high efficiency without being mediated with a shuttle vector; and to provide a method for making the Ad vector.
The Ad vector includes a genome of an E1 region deficiency-type Ad at least having deficiency at the E1 region, or a restricted proliferation-type Ad from which the function of a part of the E1 protein is deleted, or by which the expression of the E1 protein is caused, for example, only in a cancer cell, and is obtained by adding to the Ad genome the promotor and one or more recognition sequences of a restriction enzyme unique to the Ad.
