Abstract:
To provide an adhesion device for carbon fibers capable of ensuring flexibility and adhesion at an adhesion portion of the carbon fibers.SOLUTION: An adhesion device 10 for adhering an overlapping portion FL between one carbon fiber bundle F and the other carbon fiber bundle F, comprises a power source 11, a first electrode 12 connected to one electrode of the power source 11 and having a lower resistance value (Ω) than that of the carbon fiber bundle F, a second electrode 13 connected to the other electrode of the power source 11 and having a lower resistance value (Ω) than that of the carbon fiber bundle F, an electrode insulator 16 placed between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 13, for insulating between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 13, and a low-heat conductivity insulator 17 having lower heat conductivity (W/cm K) than that of the carbon fiber bundle F. The adhesion device is configured to energize between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 13 in a state of sandwiching the overlapping portion FL between the first electrode 12, the second electrode 13 and the electrode insulator 16 and the low-heat conductivity insulator 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
