To install air control components integrally in an adhesive supply unit.

The adhesive supply unit is provided with an air control system and a control system. The air control system has a first loop, which is provided with: a melter body including a hopper having an interior storage region for housing a material and at least one heating element connected functionally for melting the material; a lid connected functionally for airtightly closing the hopper; and at least one of a vacuum pump and a vacuum generator which communicates with the interior storage region of the hopper while interposing a first valve mechanism between them and is used for discharging air from the interior storage region, and a second loop which is provided with: at least one dryer filter which communicates with the interior storage region while interposing a second valve mechanism between them and is used for removing moisture from the air from an air supply source; and an outlet for supplying dried air into the interior storage region. The control system operates the first and second loops so that the moisture-containing air is discharged from the interior storage region and the dried air is sent thereto by alternately actuating the first and second valve mechanisms and is linked with the air control system.
