To provide an adhesive-carrying porous film for a battery separator, capable of efficiently producing a battery, by preventing an electrode and the separator from shifting around each other due to shear in an electrode/separator laminated material which is formed by allowing the separator to tentatively adhere to the electrode, when the battery is produced.
This adhesive-carrying porous film is formed by using a specified porous film as a base porous film and making the base porous film carry a partially crosslinked adhesive, wherein the porous film is specified so that a temperature at which thickness of the film decreases to a half of thickness given on the occasion of initially putting a probe on the film is not less than 200°C which is measured by using a probe-penetrating type thermomechanical analyzer, and the partially crosslinked adhesive is given by reacting a reactive polymer having functional groups of which the each is reactive with an isocyanate group with a polyfunctional isocyanate, and then partially crosslinking the polymer with the isocyanate.
