PURPOSE: To obtain an interlining adhesive compsn. by mixing a polyamide or polyester resin powder with a specific resin emulsion or suspension in such a manner that the resulting compsn. has specified viscosity and thixotropic index.
CONSTITUTION: A polyamide resin powder or a polyester resin powder having an MI value at 160°C of 10g/10min or higher and an average particle size of 10-250μm is produced by copolymerizing hexamethylenediamine, adipic acid, etc., or by copolymerizing terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol, etc. The polyamide or polyester resin powder is compounded with an emulsion or suspension of an acrylic resin, a urethane resin, etc., having a melt viscosity of three times that of the polyamide or polyester resin in a wt. ratio of the former resin to the latter of (100:5)-(100:150), giving the objective compsn. having a viscosity of 10,000-70,000Pa.s/20°C, a thixotropic index of 3-10, and a blocking-starting temp. of 40°C or higher.
