Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive composition exhibiting a good initial bonding strength and an excellent creep resistance and being capable of keeping good adhesive characteristics even after repeated exposure to water.
CONSTITUTION: The composition is flowable and comprises at least one polychloroprene polymer, at least one monoolefin-based rubber polymer in an amount of about 2 to about 50 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. total of the polychloroprene and the rubber polymer contained in the composition, and a solvent in which the polychloroprene and the rubber polymer are soluble.
