Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition capable of keeping a good flexibility for a long term and displaying an excellent adhesion even in the state of equilibrium moisture, and to provide an adhesive for a bookbinding back-paste, a water-soluble adhesive and a sheet type packing material.
SOLUTION: The adhesive composition is mainly composed of a hydrolyzed material of a collagen and contains at least sodium lactate as a water-holding agent. The adhesive for bookbinding back-paste is composed of the adhesive composition wherein the content of sodium lactate is in a specified range. The water-soluble adhesive is composed of the adhesive composition wherein the content of sodium lactate is in a specified range. This water-soluble adhesive is laminated to form the sheet type packing material.
