PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plywood adhesive composition that can reduce an amount of formaldehyde released from plywood, plywood comprising the plywood adhesive composition, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: A plywood adhesive composition contains a secondary reaction phenolic resin obtained by making a novolac phenolic resin into a resol, and reducing sugar.
