To provide an adhesive composition keeping long wave ultraviolet shielding effects for a long term and exhibiting excellent light resistance, in long-term time lapse.

There is provided the adhesive composition usable for an adhesive layer composing laminates and comprising the adhesive and an ultraviolet absorber represented by formula (1). In the formula, R1a, R1b, R1c, R1d and R1e represent each independently hydrogen or a monovalent substituent except OH, at least one of substituents represents a substituent having a positive σp value of Hammett's rule. The substituents may bind each other to form a ring. R1g, R1i, R1j, R1k, R1m and R1p represent each independently hydrogen or a monovalent substituent. The substituents may bind each other to form a ring. R1h and R1n each independently represent hydrogen, a halogen atom or a monovalent substituent connected with S, C or N.
