To locate a cap outside a slide member and a guide member so as to be able to mount thereon in an adhesive container with an application guide in which the guide member attached to a container so as to be able to expand and contract is located in front of an application part and an adhesive can be applied to an side edge of a sheet to be applied while guiding the sheet.

The adhesive container with the application guide is constituted of the slide member which is fitted to the outside of a cylindrical part provided between a container body and the application part so as to be movable forth and back in an axial direction, the guide member which is projectingly provided in a cantilever type at a top end of the slide member and a cap engaging part which is provided behind the cylindrical part. A guide way for application is provided in the axial direction on an inner wall of the slide member and further a guide way for housing, a terminal part of which is located below or obliquely below the guide way for application, is provided and is connected with an upper end of the guide way for application and further a projection part facing these guide ways is projectingly provided at the cylindrical part. When the projection part is located at an upper end of the guide way for application, a top end of an adhesive application part is located above an upper end edge of the guide member. When the projection part is located at a lower end thereof, the top end of the adhesive application part is located before a lower end edge of the guide member.
