PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission belt having long traveling life by improving adhesion between core wires and a belt body under high-a core wire and a belt body under high-temperature environment.
SOLUTION: Core wires 16 are embedded in the belt body 14 of the transmission belt 10. The belt body 14 is obtained by curing and molding of a rubber composition and these core wires 16 are bonded to the belt body 14 by curing. The core wire 16 is composed of a pair of rubber-reinforcing cords 160S and 160Z and the surfaces of the rubber-reinforcing cords 160S and 160Z are coated with a resorcin-formaldehyde latex composition and an adhesive layer in which a halogen-containing polymer, an acrylic resin monomer, an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, a crosslinking agent and an additive for improving heat resistance are compounded is provided in the outermost layer part.
