Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive for fireproof wood excellent in coating property and adhesiveness to fireproof wood.SOLUTION: There are provided an adhesive for fireproof wood which contains a modified polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) having a modified amount of 0.1-20 mol% and a polyvalent isocyanate compound (B); and an adhesive for fireproof wood, where the modified polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) is a polyvinyl alcohol resin having a primary hydroxyl group in its side chain, has a 1,2-diol structure, and is an ethylenically modified polyvinyl alcohol resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
