Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive spacer for a liquid crystal display plate little in sagging down of the adhesive layer and a high in adhesive property to both the upper and the lower substrates in the case where it is fixed, and high display quality liquid crystal display plate uniform in liquid crystal layer thickness with no irregular color even if vibration or shock is added to it at a high temperature.
SOLUTION: In the adhesive spacer for liquid crystal display plate containing a particle main body composed of an organic inorganic composite particle or an organic crosslinked polymer and an adhesive layer coating at least a part of the particle main body surface, composed of a thermoplastic resin, the thermoplastic resin is provided with thermal characteristics of 90-150°C flow out starting temperature (Tfb), 120-180°C 1/2 method flow out temperature (T1/2), 140-200°C flow out ending temeprature (Tend), 10-50°C T1/2-Tfb and >0°C and ≤20°C Tend-T1/2 (provided that Tfb, T1/2, and Tend are measured with the flow tester method and satisfy the relation Tfb<T1/2<Tend).
