Abstract:
To provide an adhesive tape and a lens shape processing method for a spectacle lens that ensure an accurate shaping of a spectacle lens and prevents failure in removing the tape.
An adhesive tape 20 having an opaque tape base material and an adhesive layer to be in contact with a spectacle lens L is stuck to the spectacle lens L having a water repelling layer on the outermost surface and a dot as a horizontal reference printed on a convex surface L1 where the water repelling layer is formed. While the adhesive tape 20 is present between the spectacle lens L and a chuck 51 as a fixing device of a shape processing device 50, a grinding stone 60 is pressed to a rim of the spectacle lens L to shape the lens.
