Abstract:
To provide a device for supporting the head of a patient in a slate that the head is correctly positioned during radiotherapy and controllably adjusting the height of the head in the vertical direction.
The adjustable headrest 10 is for supporting the head of a patient during radiotherapy. The headrest 10 has a table board 14, an adjustable feed screw 26 attached rotatably to the table board 14, a base board 34 attached to be engaged with the feed screw 26, and a uni-frame 40 attached detachably to the base board 34 with a moldable member 44 for supporting the head of the patient.
