Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat arrangement adapted to a figure variation of a handicapped person by one, two, or three-dimensionally adjusting a back portion, a seat portion or both contours.
SOLUTION: A seat arrangement 10 has a frame member 12 having a back portion 14 and a seat portion 16. The back portion 14 has a first and a second rigid supporting elements 18, 20 spaced apart (a), the both supporting elements have a first and a second parallel reinforcement members 22, 24 spaced apart. To provide desirable varying contours to the seat arrangement 10, a plurality of first flexible webbing members 52 are extended between the first and the second supporting elements 18, 20. These webbing members 52 are disposed spaced apart between an upper part 53 and a lower part of the back portion 14. For instance, the webbing member 52' has a first and a second flexible webbing members 54, 56, each of the second flexible webbing members are adjustably connected to the first and the second supporting elements at a first end 58 and a second end 64. A means for joining a back portion 68 is mutually connected to the both webbing members 54, 56.
