Abstract:
PURPOSE: To permit a holding device which enables various handled objects such as tools to be vertically hung on a wall surface to rapidly hold and remove the objects and be adjusted to match the diameters of the handles of the objects.
CONSTITUTION: A holding device 10 sandwiches and holds the handle of an article between a roller 30 freely rollingly and movably attached to a first member and a wall part 68 formed at a second member. The roller moves toward or away from the wall part of the second member and holds the handle by moving diagonally vertically along the inclined hole of the first member while abutting against the wall part of the second member and rolling. The holding device is designed to be capable of adjusting the relative positions of the first and second members. The holding device can either be directly mounted to a wall surface or can be supported against a support bracket mounted to the wall surface.
