Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to adjust the gap without using a thickness gage by a method wherein an driving axle of an outer wrench to turn a lock nut and that of an inner wrench to turn an adjusting screw are provided concentric to each other and the scale marks graduated onto both the wrenches are used as measures. CONSTITUTION:The wrench opening 6a of an inner wrench 6 is engaged with an adjusting screw 2 by pushing down a graduated knob 8. A lock nut is released by turning a driving part 4 with a spanner or the like. The graduated knob 8 is turned to left by fingering until no gap exists. Then, a reference ring 5 is turned so as to align a reference line 5a with the long graduation line of the graduated knob 8. After that, the graduated knob 8 is turned to right by an indicated amount and, while keeping this state of the knob 8 unchangeable, an outer wrench is turned in order to fasten the lock nut tightly. After the completion of adjustment, the subject device is removed by pushing down the knob 8.
