Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight adjusting leg for appliances which can reduce a cost without degrading strength withstanding shocks.
SOLUTION: In the adjusting leg comprising a leg 10 which is disposed on a lower part of an outer frame of the appliance in a vertically movable manner and provided with a slidable shaft part 17 having a ground part 16 on a lower part and an uneven part 18 such as a screw on an outer circumference thereof on an upper part, a means of locking (preventing) the movement in the vertical direction of the leg, and a means for releasing the locking, an outer circumferential part of the slidable shaft part 17 of the leg 10 is formed of resin with excellent mechanical strength such as polycarbonate, and a long metal member (a metal shaft 24) is provided for a core to ensure the strength against shocks and reduce the weight of the adjusting leg.
