PURPOSE: To prevent a molding material being removed from a small roll in case of changing the molding material by moving a stand fitting base located on a rail guide by the rotation of a stepping motor to the right or left at very small angle with the reference position as the center and performing the micro- angle adjustment of the undriven small roll.
CONSTITUTION: This is to perform the roll forming of the metal molding used for automobile, etc., by plural driving roll stands and undriven small roll forming stand group and the stand fitting base 21 of a forming stand 8 is rotatable at micro-angle centering around the reference pin 24 of the reference position on a rail guide 22, for the rail guide 22 slidable on a rail 3. The stand fitting base 21 is rotated by a micro-angle ±θ° centering around the reference pin 24 by transmitting to a ball screw shaft 28 and ball nut 29 via gears 27, 26 the rotation of the stepping motor 25 fixed to the rail guide 22 by a fitting plate 25a. The removal from a roll of the molding material due to the unbalance in forming load can thus be prevented.
