Abstract:

PURPOSE: To adjust the gap in a rotary transformer with high accuracy and to improve the yield of the rotary transformer by a method wherein when a rotating shaft is pressed into, the optimum press-fitting amount of the shaft is forecast and operated on the basis of a press-fitting force, a press-fitting amount and the like and two inductance values, which are measured in the middle of the press-fitting, and variation in individual components is compensated.
CONSTITUTION: A press-fitting machine 12 is constituted of a press-fitting member 12a to make contact to the upper end of a rotating shaft of this machine 12, a load cell 12b for detecting a press-fitting force of this member 12a and a driving motor 12c. When the rotating shaft is pressed into by making the motor 12c drive, an inductance of this rotary transformer 1 is measured in the middle of the press-fitting and there-after, an inductance value of this transformer 1 is again measured in a state that the rotating shaft is further pressed into a little more. A control device 13 compensates variation in individual components by forecasting and operating the optimum press-fitting amount of the rotating shaft on the basis of the two inductance value, the press-fitting force, a press-fitting amount and the like at the time of press-fitting of the rotating shaft. Thereby, the gap in the transformer can be adjusted with a high accuracy and easily.
