Title:
ADJUSTOR FOR ELECTRONIC WATCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5539013
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maintain the high precision of an electronic watch for a long period by compensating the fluctuations in the oscillatory frequency due to the aging of each element while varying the compensation data in a compensating circuit.

CONSTITUTION: An external operating member 70 of a compensating circuit 110 is operated so that the shift in the temperature characteristics of an oscillatory circuit during the production and after a long time therefrom is fed to a compensation unit 80. The shift data fed and the output data of a temperature compensating circuit 50 are added or subtracted by an arithmetic circuit 60 so that the oscillatory frequency of an oscillatory circuit 10 is compensated or that a frequency dividing circuit 20 is controlled and compensated to eliminate the error. Thus, it is possible to compensate the fluctuations in the oscillatory frequency due to the agings of the respective elements constituting the oscillatory circuit and to maintain the high precision even after an elapse of a long period.
