To provide an admission control system capable of controlling cost increase.SOLUTION: An admission control system 1 includes: a photographing device 10; a storage device 12 that stores patterns of a recognition item 2 issued to visitors; a pattern recognition device 13 that recognizes whether or not an imaging pattern of the recognition item 2 captured by the photographing device 10 matches the patterns of the recognition item stored in the storage device 12.
