Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of an adsorbent with high efficiency for removing a cumulative catalyst poison from a used denitration catalyst, and an adsorption method for removing a catalyst poison in exhaust gas with the adsorbent.

A used denitration catalyst for purification of exhaust gas is impregnated with aluminum sulfate solution and dried, so that an aluminum sulfate-containing adsorbent for removing a cumulative catalyst poison is manufactured. The adsorbent is then used for adsorption removal of a compound which contains at least one selected from the group consisting of arsenic, phosphorus, and alkali metal in exhaust gas.
