Abstract:

To provide an adsorbent suited to adsorb and remove nitrogen oxides of low concentration, production and regeneration methods thereof, and a method efficiently cleaning gas containing nitrogen oxides of low concentration.

This adsorbent is for treating exhaust gas with concentrations of nitrogen oxides and/or sulfur oxides of 5 ppm or less. The adsorbent for nitrogen oxides and/or sulfur oxides contains at least one kind of element selected from (A) tin, antimony and bismuth, and at least one kind of element selected from (E) alkaline earth metal elements, titanium, silicon and zirconium, excluding one having ilmenite structure.
