To provide an adsorbent sprayer which can uniformly impregnate mops within a rotary drum all over the entire part thereof with the adsorbent even with one spraying nozzle and an adsorbent spraying method.
A rotary drum 3 in which a number of dust control products, such as the mops M, are housed is supported in a casing 2 with its axial center O of rotation held inclined. The adsorbent spraying nozzle 10 is arranged in the position upper than the axial center O of rotation and the position offset to the front side of the rotating direction R at the end of the rotary drum on the high position side in the axial central direction of rotation. The spraying nozzle 10 is attached to the member on the casing side and is directed diagonally downward within the rotary drum 3. The rotary drum 3 is rotated, by which the mops M are mixed and agitated and are impregnated with the adsorbent sprayed from the spraying nozzle 10.
