Abstract:

To provide an adsorption heat pump having high waste heat utilization efficiency and a manufacturing method of a heat exchanger.

An adsorption heat pump includes an evaporator and an adsorber into which steam generated in the evaporator flows. A heat exchanger 14 is arranged in the adsorber. The heat exchanger 14 includes: a heat medium pipe 23 through which a heat medium passes; and a plurality of adsorbent blocks 24 that include a bag-shaped metal mesh or bag-shaped holed metal member arranged around the heat medium pipe 23 and an adsorbent inserted into the metal mesh or holed metal member to absorb steam of a coolant.
