Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption type heat pump improved in thermal efficiency in comparison with a conventional one.SOLUTION: An evaporator 31 lowers a temperature of cooling water passing in a cooling pipe 41 by evaporation of a refrigerant. The vapor generated in the evaporator 31 is adsorbed by powdered adsorbent 39 slipping off on an inclined face of an adsorber 33. The adsorbent 39 is moved upward by an adsorbent conveying device 38. Then the adsorbent is regenerated (dried) by being heated by a hot water pipe 44 in which the hot water of which a temperature is raised by waste heat, in a regenerator 34. The vapor generated in the regenerator 34 is condensed in a condenser 32 and liquefied to be transferred to the evaporator 31. Meanwhile, the adsorbent 39 regenerated by the regenerator 34 slips off on an inclined face of the regenerator 34 by gravitational force, and transferred to the inclined face of the adsorber 33 through an adsorbent storage tank 36.
