Abstract:
To provide an adsorptive nonwoven fabric capable of adsorbing volatile organic compounds such as acetone and capable of reducing the cost of maintenance due to replacement.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric body 1 is subjected to radiation graft polymerization 2, and then brought into contact with a GMA solution 3 to form a plurality of graft chains 4 on the fibers of the nonwoven fabric body 1. After the nonwoven fabric body on which the graft chains have been formed is immersed in a solution 5 of 4-(aminomethyl)pyridine, it is immersed in a solution of a metal 6 such as Cu. As a result, an adsorptive nonwoven fabric 10 can be obtained which includes the nonwoven fabric body 1 and a plurality of graft chains 4b formed on the fibers of the nonwoven fabric body and has a structure in which a functional group (4-(aminomethyl)pyridine) is added to the graft chain 4b and a metal such as Cu is further bound to the 4-(aminomethyl)pyridine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
