Abstract:
To diagnose in advance a short circuit in a battery wire for supplying power to electrical equipment.
A wire 3 led to a starter motor from a battery is constituted of a battery wire 4 for electrically connecting the battery with a starter motor, an inside-insulation material covering the battery wire, a shielding wire 6 wired to the outside of the inside-insulation material, and an outside-insulation material covering a shielding wire. By detecting the short circuit in the shielding wire caused by breakage in the outside-insulation material, the short circuit can be diagnosed in the battery wire in advance.
