To provide an advancing operation toy, enabling a toy body to advance in the direction along a placing surface in a stable attitude while being simple in structure.
The toy body 10 includes a lower body 10B and an upper body 10A, wherein the lower body 10B is provided with a plurality of leg parts 11A, 11B set on the placing surface 2. The lower body 10B is provided with a spiral spring 17 as a drive, and the upper body 10A is connected to a rotating part constituted by the spiral spring 17. With the center of gravity G of the upper body 10A eccentric to the axis, the center of gravity G is revolved in the horizontal direction. A contact resistance of one leg part 11B to the placing surface 2 is set sufficiently smaller than the contact resistance of the two remaining leg parts 11A to the placing surface 2. When the center of gravity G of the upper body 10A is revolved in the horizontal direction, the toy body slides toward the leg part 11B having the smaller contact resistance.
