To provide an advertisement information distribution system for distributing advertisement information by specifying the current location of a user without using a portable telephone set equipped with a GPS receiving function.
This advertisement information distribution system is configured of a portable telephone set owned by a user; an automatic vending machine; and a server communicatively connected to the portable telephone set and the automatic vending machine. The portable telephone set is loaded with a non-contact IC medium in which the mail address of a user is stored, and the automatic vending machine is provided with a reading means for reading the mail address; a storage means for storing unique information to specify the automatic vending machine; and a means for transmitting the read mail address and the unique information to the server. The server is provided with a database in which the unique information and the advertisement information are associated with each other; an extraction means for extracting advertisement information associated with the unique information in the database when receiving the mail address and the unique information; and a distribution means for distributing the extracted advertisement information to the received mail address destination.
