To enhance an advertisement effect for a consumer; more particularly to enhance an advertisement effect for a user who collects image data.
An advertising image distribution system is equipped with an advertising image distribution server and a printer for performing communication with the advertising image distribution server. The printer has a printing section which prints an image and a printed information output section which outputs the printed information indicating the end of printing without detecting the fault of the printing in the printing section in case of such end. The advertising image distribution server has an image storage section which stores an advertisement-inclusive image including an advertisement and an advertisement-free image excluding the advertisement from the advertisement-inclusive image by associating these images with each other, a image distribution section which distributes the advertisement-inclusive image and the advertisement-free image, a distribution permission section which receives the printed information of the advertisement-inclusive image from the printed information output section of the printer, and thereafter, permits the distribution of the advertisement-free image associated with the advertisement-inclusive image from the image distribution section to the printer.
