Abstract:

To provide an unmanned aerial vehicle with deployable components (UAVDC).SOLUTION: An unmanned aerial vehicle with deployable components (UAVDC) may comprise a fuselage, a wing 110, and a control surface 120. The UAVDC may further comprise propulsion means 135 and/or a modular payload 140. The UAVDC may be configured in a plurality of arrangements. For example, in a compact arrangement, the UAVDC may comprise the wing stowed against the fuselage and the control surface stowed against the fuselage. In a deployed arrangement, the UAVDC may comprise the wing deployed from the fuselage and the control surface deployed from the fuselage. In an expanded arrangement, the UAVDC may comprise the wing telescoped in a nested manner to increase a wingspan of the deployed arrangement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C
