PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition having remarkably improved solubility and storage stability and effective for preventing and improving gray hair by compounding a propellant to a liquid preparation containing a specific nucleic acid relating substance and a transcutaneous absorbefacient.
CONSTITUTION: The objective aerosol composition for hair is produced by compounding (A) one or more kinds of propellants (especially preferably liquefied petroleum gas or dimethyl ether) to (B) a mixed liquid preparation composed of (B1) one or more nucleic acid relating substances selected from adenosine 3',5'-cyclic-phosphoric acid, its derivative and their salts [especially preferably the compound of formula I or formula II (R1 and R2 are H or acyl; X is HO-containing group; S-containing group, alkylamino, etc.; R3 is 2-amino-2- methyl-1,3-propanediol ammonium ion, etc.)] and (B2) one or more nonionic surfactants having an HLB of 3-19 as a transcutaneous absorbefacient (especially preferably an ether-type higher alcohol polyoxyethylene derivative). When the composition is externally applied to the scalp, it activates the melanocyte of hair root and promotes the melanogenesis.
