Title:
AEROSOL FOR CONTROLLING FLYING INSECT PEST ON GLASS SURFACE AND SCREEN DOOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013126959
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an aerosol for controlling flying insect pests on glass surfaces and screen doors which does not cloud nor stain glass surfaces but also efficiently attach the chemical to screen doors, renders an excellent insect pest control effect on the treated objective surfaces of both of the glass surfaces and the screen doors and yet keeps the aesthetics of the treated surfaces.

The aerosol for controlling flying insect pests on glass surfaces and screen doors includes an aerosol concentrate solution containing a pyrethroid type insecticidal component in an amount of 0.01-5.0 w/v% of the total amount of the aerosol and a solvent, and a propellant containing dimethyl ether and/or liquefied petroleum gas. The mixing ratio of the aerosol concentrate solution to the propellent is 20/80-50/50 in volume. The solvent used is a paraffinic hydrocarbon the evaporation rate of which is 5-20 relative to 100 of that of n-butyl acetate. The paraffinic hydrocarbon is mixed with the aerosol concentrate solution in an amount of at least 90 w/v%.
