PURPOSE: To provide an aerosol for controlling paddy field vermin, most suitable for the use in a raising seedling box and free from phytotoxicity to rice plant by using an active compound such as natural or synthetic pyrethroid compound, a solvent such as ethylene glycol and a propellant.
CONSTITUTION: The objective aerosol for controlling paddy field vermin is produced by combining (A) an active component consisting of one or more kinds of compounds selected from natural or synthetic pyrethroid compound [e.g. 3-phenoxybenzyl 3-(2,2-dichloro-vinyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate], an organic phosphorus insecticidal compound [e.g. O,O-dimethyl O-(3-methyl-4- nitrophenyl)phosphorothioate], a carbamate insecticide compound, a chitin synthesis inhibiting compound and a juvenile hormone-like compound, (B) one or more kinds of solvents selected from ethylene glycol, 2-ethoxyethanol, hexane and propylene glycol monomethyl ether and (C) a propellant.
