Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new post-foaming gel which can provide enhanced lubrication yet maintain skin comfort and foaming capabilities while being sufficiently manufacturable on a commercial scale.SOLUTION: An aerosol shave composition comprises: a. 2% to 25% of a water dispersible surface active agent; b. 1% to 6% of a volatile post-foaming agent, which is a volatile hydrocarbon or halohydrocarbon; c. a microdroplet premix comprising 40% to 95% of water and 0.01 to 15% of a hydrophobic agent forming a plurality of microdroplets having an average particle size of about 0.5 to about 3 micrometers.
