PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition comprising a specific antibacterial and antifungal component, polyethylene wax fine particles, a specific resin component, an organic solvent, and dimethylether in a specific ratio, and excellent in dryness, adhesivity to the surface of woodwork, etc.

CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) an antibacterial and antifungal component containing, as a main component, at least one kind of antibacterial and antifungal substance comprising at least one and/or several antimicrobial ion sources selected from silver, zinc and their metal compounds and a zirconium ceramic material for adsorbing and carrying the antimicrobial ions, (B) PE wax fine particles having an average particle diameter of ≤3 micron, (C) a resin component containing at least one of a nitrocellulose and an alkyd resin, (D) an organic solvent, and (E) dimethyl ether. Therein, the components A/B is 0.05/1 to 1/1, and (the components A+B) is ≤20% based on the solid content of (the components A+B+C). The composition is charged in aerosol spray cans and subsequently used.
