Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aerosol type hair treatment composition, capable of being jetted from a nozzle of an aerosol container into a spray form and sticking in a formy form when reaching the hair, removing the foams at a moderate rate, good in compatibility with the hair and imparting the smoothness and softness to the hair.
SOLUTION: This aerosol type hair treatment composition is a mixture of a stock solution containing (A) 0.5-5 pts.wt. higher alcohol, (B) 0.1-3 pts.wt. cationic surfactant and (C) 5-20 pts.wt. lower alcohol so as to provide 100 pts.wt. total amount thereof with a propellant comprising (i) a liquefied petroleum gas and (ii) dimethyl ether at a weight ratio (i)/(ii) within the range of (5/95) to (30/70). The weight ratio of (stock solution)/(propellant) is within the range of (60/40) to (90/10).
