PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a finish tray by constituting an orderly depositing device with a pair of orderly depositing members which extend to a specified length toward the sheet depositing surface of the finish tray and stand face to face so as to hold a sheet bundle in an orthogonally crossing direction.
CONSTITUTION: Side fences 103,104 are fixed to each transport belt 108,109 above a sheet, by a forward/backward positioning fence. The side fences 103, 104 extend to a specified length toward a finish tray 400 and stand face to face with a space left in a lateral direction so that the sheet can be caught. The transport belts 108, 109 are supported by pulleys 116 to 119 and driven independently of the other by side fence transport motors 111, 110. The side fences 103, 104 are arranged below a direction where the sheet is transported against the center line of the lateral direction when a maximum size sheet is deposited on the finish tray 400 during a sheet jogging process. The side fences 103, 104 move in the same direction during a sheet discharge process.
