Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an after run preventing device preventing an after run surely, after an operation of stopping an engine, with a simple composition and low cost.
SOLUTION: A main fuel passage 7 and a slow fuel passage 8 are provided at a mixing body 2 of a carburetor 1. A float chamber 3 mounted at lower part of the mixing body 2 is communicated with the passages 7, 8 through a main jet 13 and a valve chamber 14 in order. A rear anchor part 7a of the main fuel passage 7 is closed by a fuel cut-off valve 11 in conjunction with an engine stopping operation. The slow fuel passage 8 and the valve chamber 14 are communicated with each other on an upstream of the rear anchor part 7a of the main fuel passage 7, and the fuel cut-off valve 11 is operated to stop, in a situation where a throttle valve 17 of the carburetor 1 is substantially fully open.
