Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ag-ZnO-based electrical contact material the electric conductivity of which can be increased even when content of Ag is reduced, and a production method therefor.SOLUTION: The production method for an Ag-ZnO-based electrical contact material is provided in which an Ag-ZnO-based electrical contact material 1 is produced by mixing an Ag-ZnO-based alloy powder and an AgO powder with a volume ratio of 50:50 to 90:10, then pressure molding and heating sintering a resultant mixed powder. The Ag-ZnO-based electrical contact material 1 produced by the production method, has an internal structure in which Ag-ZnO particles 2 are surrounded by an Ag continuous phase 3 and has a volume ratio of Ag and ZnO of 48:52 to 90:10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
